Unparalleled Chasselas from unbelievable slopes

The Vaud, second only to the Valais in terms of importance, is a crescent-shaped region comprising the dizzyingly steep terraced vineyards on the northern edge of Lake Geneva. Although small plantings of other varieties can be found, Chasselas is the dominant grape of the Vaud, and the region’s well-delineated cru system names 26 separate appellations for monovarietal Chasselas, each centering on a particular village along the lake.
