This pure Nebbiolo comes from the southern section of Ghemme and is made in the classic manner, with neutral oak and minimal sulfur. It has the lovely aromatics of the Nebbiolo and an unfettered charm, with an animal-fur intrigue and a silky, expressive palate. A mere 1,500 bottles are produced each year.
